FAQs

Who is this conference for?

This conference is for anyone who seeks to grow in understanding and application of biblical counseling, whether for their own personal walk, or to minister to others (or both).  It is recommended for those ages 16 and older.

When is the Pacific Northwest Counseling Conference?

The Pacific Northwest Counseling Conference will be held May 1-2, 2026. The conference takes place Friday from 6-9 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

How do I register?

To register for the Pacific Northwest Counseling Conference, please register at this link: REGISTER. Alternatively, you may register as a walk-in on Friday, May 1 between 4-6:00 PM.  The cost is $140 per person.

Can I attend the conference virtually?

We are only offering an in-person option for conference registration this year. However, livestreams of the main sessions and the two breakout sessions taking place in the main auditorium will be available during the conference for those who register for in person attendance but are unable to attend. You will not be able to choose your breakout sessions if you decide to watch the conference online. Recordings of all sessions will be available for purchase after the conference.

What is included in the registration cost?

The cost covers conference supplies and materials, snacks and beverages that are provided in between sessions, as well as lunch on Saturday.

How long is registration open?

Online registration will be open through April 30. If we have space, we will gladly register you at the door on May 1.

What is your cancellation and transfer policy?

You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund if requested by April 17, 2026.  You will receive a 50 percent refund if you cancel by April 27, 2026. The cost is non-refundable after that time. You may contact counseling@chccbw.org to transfer your registration to another individual until April 27, 2026.  We will not accept transfers after that time.  Please be prepared to give the name and contact information for the person to whom you are transferring. Any transfer of finances related to this is between the two parties involved; Canyon Hills will not be responsible to arrange any payments.

What is ACBC Certification?

Canyon Hills is a Certified Biblical Training Center through ACBC [Association of Certified Biblical Counselors], and many of our counselors are certified through this national body.  For more information on what certification is and the pathway to certification, check out ACBC’s Website.

How do I get recordings of sessions?

Each main session will be video recorded and available for purchase after the conference. Breakout sessions will be available in a combination of video and audio recordings. After purchasing, you will receive an email with a link to watch the sessions once they have been processed after the conference.

Do you offer childcare?

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide childcare for this event. As a courtesy to all our attenders, we kindly ask that you do not bring your children with you. Infants are welcome to attend with parents (we do offer a family room at the back of our Worship Center if it is needed).

Where and when do I check in?

You will be able to check in at our main church lobby at the registration table. This table will be open on Friday, beginning at 4 pm.

Where should I park?

You may park anywhere in the parking lot of the main Canyon Hills Community Church building, or in front of our other buildings (Canyon Hills 3, 4, and 5). Please note any signs that reserve parking for other businesses. You may also park at the Park ‘N Ride, just one block south on 17th Ave. It’s a short walk to the church!

Will you be able to accommodate food allergies?

We will do our best to offer a variety of foods, snacks, and beverages for those who have food allergies or sensitivities. If you have a severe allergy, many allergies/sensitivities, or other specific diet, we ask that you bring your own food or plan on eating offsite for lunch. While we hope to accommodate as much as we can, we know individual needs vary greatly and we will not be able to guarantee all needs are met. Lunch is served onsite on Saturday.
